The rally was confined to a block-long space, about one car lane wide, paralleling the sidewwalk of 46th and 47 Street, east side, Park Avenue. Major League Baseball HG is at 250 Park.
NYPD had a modest presence, about three officers. Organizers had their own security represented by 32BJ SEIU, members wearing bright orange vests. And there appeared to be 250 Park Avenue building security. All civil. A few passersby, apparently white and definitely male, shouted what could be call pro-TSB1070 sympathies as they moved along the sidewalk, their sympathies sounding like a NYC insult/slight (like: Go back to Mexico, Get a job).
There was one sideshow, however, that amounted to a New York City You Talkin’ to Me?
It went like this.

UnSub picks up an unexpected escort, a 32BJ SEIU union member who has told him that he can't heckle the rally participants. He must either keep moving or return to his designated corral or stop. UnSub aims his cellphone at the escort.

What at several points appeared to be an incident in the making was on the wane by the time the gentleman – back to the camera, crisp, paramilitary haircut (as imagined by this writer), white shirt, tie (that can’t be seen from this angle) – came down from the steps of 250 Park Avenue and strongly intimated that it was time for the UnSub to end his sojourn and move on. And the UnSub did, back to the area reserved for the counter-protestors (about a half dozen).
